Observation task 4


Observation task 4: Planning and preparing for learning


There activity:
 Here there are cut picture for renewable and nonrenewable energy .
 Here they math the picture.
Here there drown some picture for renewable energy.

Interview with my teacher:-
1-How do you plan?  Do you plan weekly or daily?
I plan termly (11 weeks) then weekly planning which is further broken down into days.

2-Do you plan as part of a team or individually? 
 I should plan with other grade 5 EMT's but there has been cover teachers all year so I plan on my own.

3-In your lessons, do you ever do anything you haven't planned to do? why?
 Yes, sometime I do things not on my plan as I see pupils need extra support or different ways to tackle a problem.
4-What are the most important things to you when planning a lesson?
 Important:- ( not in any order) 
1-Curriculum to cover.
2-Pupils needs and ability.
3-For our pupils, things to fit the routine.
5-Do you plan to do the same thing with all children in the classroom?(why/why not?)
Plan the same:- at the beginning of a week all pupils do the same to build a foundation for them. Before differentiating to help all achieve at a level to suit them.

1- Why is planning and preparation for learning important?
 To be prepared for your class and students needs.
2- What do you have to think about before you begin to plan for learning?
 I have to think in student academic levels, time, and content.
3- How do you plan? Do you plan weekly or daily? Do you plan as part of a team or individually? 
I do planing Weekly and than daily with other grade 5 EMT's and sometime with my own.
4- In your lessons, do you ever do anything you haven't planned to do? why?
 Yes, sometimes the lesson can change due to student reactions.
5- What are the most important things to you when planning a lesson?
 Knowing your student's interest and the content.
6- Do you plan to do the same thing with all the students in the classroom? (why/why not?)
I can not plan to do the same thing with all student, because each one of students have different level of understanding.
